As an immigrant and the child of immigrant parents, I have experienced firsthand the challenges of navigating an unfamiliar financial landscape. Witnessing this struggle inspired me to found Novi Opes, derived from the Latin for “New Wealth”, it is exactly the goal we strive for, creating “new wealth” for our community members with our financial literacy help.

Hi, I’m Arjun. I am a student at Stevenson High School and will graduate in 2029. My hobbies include volleyball and Rubik’s Cubes. I joined Novi Opes because I have been interested in economics and financial literacy my whole life, and to get the chance to help people with their own goals of financial literacy means a large amount to me. I am excited to be on the journey of Novi Opes.

Hi, I’m Kinjal Bhargava and I joined Novi Opes to help break the stigma of immigrant communities being financially illiterate and provide accessible knowledge online that gives them the opportunity to expand their horizons with financial freedom. When I’m not on Canva making Instagram posts you can find me taking pictures on my camera or rewatching old tv shows on repeat.
